The landscape of the South Western Peak is predominately gritstone. Famous landmarks are The Roaches and Hen Cloud escarpments. There are lots of picturesque barns in this lovely part of the UK. Three Shires Head is a famous location where a packhorse bridge is situated where the three counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire meet.
